Hey guys, I just installed a new Motherboard and CPU and booted up for the first time, (sinking feeling when you first turn the boot button on), it turns on, gives me the loading screen, and then just turns off. Freak out time .
I realized that my motherboard bios needs an update to run the new CPU. My question is, how do I update the bios before it shuts down again? I mean, the obvious answer is to install my older CPU in it, update the BIOS and then just plug in my new CPU, but without the hassle of going through all of that, how can I install all the new parts in at once and update the BIOS so that the PC boots up?
PS: Never been a BIOS flash/updater type of person, usually strayed away from that stuff.
Much appreciated!
