My wife was given an HP Pavilion dv6810us running windows vista home premium. The machine was running hot so I figured I would clean the fan or try to determine if it needed a new fan or not. So, I cleaned the fan after tearing the laptop completely apart, then I put the laptop back together just as I took it apart. This was my first teardown which I did using a guide on the internet. I thought I put it back together correctly but, now the keyboard is acting really weird. The left side of the keyboard works fine but, the right side "H" and over, either does not work or the keys produce a different letter or number than they are intended to. Anyone have any idea what I did and how to fix it? Please help. The wife is livid!
