Solved: Atx connector pin mismatch

I decided to go splurge on a new mobo and hdd. But back to the issue at hand here.

Correct me if im wrong, but a thermaltake M750W PSU is compatible with an ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 mobo right?

I raise concern because the 2 power cords coming from my psu are 1x 24pin and 1x 8pin . the mobo sl9ts are 24 pin and 4 pin.......im so confused
