Hi!
I have a serious issue with the Wi-Fi in my vaio laptop(SVE15118). Whenever I close the laptop lid, the Wi-Fi turns off and the laptop acts like there is no adapter installed!
Here's what I've tried:
1. The Power Options are set to "Do nothing" on closing lid.
2. Vaio Smart Network is working fine.
3. Updated the drivers of the wireless adapter to the latest version.
4. In the "advanced" power options setting, Wireless adapter is set to "Max Performance"
5. In the advanced option for the adapter, the option for "Allow windows to turn off this device to save power" is UNCHECKED.
6. I even re-installed the OS.
None of the above methods seem to work. When I re-open the laptop lid, this is what I see (screen1.jpg).
But as soon as I click on the network icon, it automatically turns up again and I get reconnected to my network.
This is quite a problem, I would really appreciate any help on this, thanks in advance!! :thumb:
