NVidia 525M - Screen freezes

Hello there,
My Laptop specs are:

Processor: Intel 2nd Gen Core i7 i7-2630QM / 2.0 GHz ( 2.9 GHz ) ( Quad-Core )
RAM installed size: 6.0 GB
Hard Drive: 640.0 GB - Serial ATA-300 - 7200.0 rpm
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Edition
Display Type: 15.6 in TFT active matrix
Max Resolution: 1366 x 768 ( HD )
Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M
Optical Drive: DVD±RW (±R DL) / DVD-RAM

PROBLEM:
The computer screen freezes every time i try to play games on the NVidia GPU.
I tried running games on the Intel GPU and it works perfectly so i know it is the NVidia card that is the problem.

WHAT HAVE I TRIED:
- almost all drivers available for the NVidia card
- opened and cleaned fan vent
- uninstalled system temperature monitors such as cpu-z , OpenHardwareMonitor etc (i read they interfere with your system sometimes)
- I updated my BIOS from A09 to A12
- removed both graphics drivers (intel and nvidia) and installed them in order of removal (intel then nividia)

Tried all of this but with no avail ... i haven't tried factory resetting because i don't have access to an external drive but i will greatly appreciate anyones help :(
