Need help diagnosing my machine

Hello all,

I'm not sure exactly what happened. I was playing a little mechwarrior online (don't think the game matters, but you never know). While I was playing my video cut out. so I tried to shut the machine down via the power button. when I pressed it, nothing happened, all the lights on the case were still lit up, and the fans kept spinning. the reset button didn't do anything either. and holding the power button down didn't do anything. so I killed the power on the psu via the switch.

At first I thought it was the video card, so I removed it, hooked my monitors up to the ob-board ports, and fired up my machine. When I pressed the power button, all the fans started spinning, but my motherboard didn't post.

I thought it might have something to do with the changed hardware, so I found the re-set jumper on the motherboard, and switched it to restore the factory defaults. when I hit the power button still nothing. Finally I put in my old radeon 3600 card to see if I could get something to appear on the monitors, or even get the board to post. So far nothing has worked.

Does this mean the mobo is gone?

btw, my mobo model is right next to my name.
