I have an Amilo Li 1818 laptop running Vista which suddenly will not boot to Bios. The powerup light comes on, the harddrive light for a few seconds and if a DVD /CD in the machine it spins for a bit longer and then stops.
I have tried pen drive and CD Linux boot to no avail. Because of this I am inclined to think that there is something amiss with the bios. What do you think. If you agree then how do I correct this. Thanks in advance.
