RAID using different brand drives

Hello,

I recently built my first PC (details below). After getting it set up I decided to look at tweaking and optimizing. I am currently looking at the following storage config:

Primary OS and App drive
Samsung 840 Series 120 GB SSD

RAID (0 or 1)
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM HDD
HGST Travelstar 1TB 2.5” 7200RPM HDD

Backup Drive
Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM

I have it all installed and the SSD contains the OS (Windows 7 Ultimate) and copies of all the files I plan to keep. My question is:

Should I anticipate a problem with RAID when using two different brand HDDs? Any tips or recommendations? Any general comments?
