Laptop dead?

Hi my Samsung NP305E5A was left near a window, when it rained... :( I realized the window had been left open. My laptop got wet, since then it does two things:

1) Light clicking so9und comes from the left side of the keyboard

2) PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable

PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM

Reboot and select propoer Boot device
or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key

I have checked the BIOS it lists the following:

Set Boot priority:
1. SATA CD : TSSTcorp CDDVDW SN-208BB
2. SATA HDD : N/A
3. USB KEY : N/A
4. USB CD : N/A
5. USB FDD : N/A
6. USB HDD : N/A
7. NETWORK : Realtek PXE B03 D00

I spoke to my PC repair guy, he is saying to bring it in. Might be HDD and/or M/B. Said if HDD, he can replace it, if the M/B might be able to repair it.

Any suggestions?
