Hello I have a run of the mill HP Laptop when i got it from a friend it will be running just fine, then all of a sudden it makes the sound like i have unplugged something from a usb and the screen will go black...i literally have to close the lid and reopen it and the screen comes back on and runs sometimes for a few hours just fine..it has gotten to the point i literally open and shut the lid 300 to 400 times a day no lie. The puter works fine just the screen goes black and makes the bing bong sound every time and its driving me mad to the point of hurling the damn thing across the room into the wall.. does ANYONE have anysort of idea of what i can do to stop this maddening and annoying thing please?
