Upgrading from 1TB to 3TB

Hello there, I am currently trying to upgrade my old 1TB HDD that is failing to a new 3TB HDD but I am having some problems doing so.

I have a 2nd HDD already in there which is also 3TB but only has my Steam games on it and the system images.

When I start up with the old one I get the "3rd master hard disk error press F1 to resume" Message.
I cannot do a clone as I get the error "Clone failed - 13 - Pipeline Broken" which i assume is due to the old one dying.

I have created two images of the 100MB partition and the rest of the 1TB HDD with windows on it.
I managed to put them onto the new HDD but it does not notice any of it, I do not know how to set which drive other than the the whole disk itself in the BIOS.

Everywhere else I've asked I seem to get a different answer. Can anyone help me please as this things is getting to me now :S
