Video Card

Hi, I may have had this issue for years but I got a new monitor and tried to install the driver for it (Samsung SC22C150N if it's relevant) and it tells me that It can't do that for me because I don't have a Video Driver.

I tried looking in Device Manager (Windows XP) for what Video Card I have and there there is no folder called "Display Adapter"

When looking in Other Devices - Video Controller it says (Vga Compatible)

When looking in Control Panel - Display - Adaptor Tab There is no information except after each line
(such as "chip type") "<unavailable>"

When I click on properties it shows "Vga Save"

I don't have documentation stating which graphics card I have.

How do I figure out how to update to the right video driver and get rid of the Vga Save?

My monitor works but not in the better resolutions that this new monitor is capable of.

Would this mean my video card is dead?
