Screen cut off ?

Hey guys, I just installed a fresh copy of windows 8, my problem is that my screen is cut off on both sides its too wide, i've tried poking about in the options in amd control center but i can only seem to "move" the screen not make it "smaller" or "wider", really need some help here. i'll insert some pictures of the desktop and amd settings.
