Hey All,
My new Dell keyboard has developed a small stress crack in the plastic between the numeric keypad and the wake up button. The computer is in a room with baseboard heating and we turn the heat down at night because of the expenditure of baseboard heat when we are not using it during the day. We also shut the computer down at night. However, the crack does not affect functionality in any way, and the feel is so much better than previous Dells that I have used.
The crack aside, this is the first Dell Keyboard I have had out of four previous models who's letters have not started rubbing off after 1-2 weeks of use! The letters are raised and large. What specific model would this be? If I had to replace the keyboard, what would I ask for to insure this type of lettering?
