I'm writing this post on an old pc because I STUPIDLY changed a setting in my bios and now my pc freezes on the
"Gateway" splash screen, it gives me the option of pressing "DEL" to enter setup or "F12" to load boot option screen.
pressing either does nothing. I do not remember the name of the setting I changed but it had something to do with
going from 256 to 512 and I thought it was for dedicated video memory.. but I'm guessing that it wasn't...
I've removed the battery.... nothing changed. I've used the "CLEAR CMOS" jumper on the MOBO and still nothing changed.
can anyone help me out of this mess? or is my pc now a doorstop?
my pc is Gateway model sx2100, windows 7 home premium 64bit, amd e2-1800 processor, amd radeon hd 7340 graphics,
500 Gb hdd, 4Gb ddr3 ram,
there are no extra installed cards like video or sound, everything is integrated,
