Hi guys finally got round to making an account after looking on here for a week trying to solve my problem.
Basically none of my usb ports work, doesnt make the noise when it plugs in.
Running windows XP SP3
Ive tried:
Reinstalling the drivers via device manager
Downloaded multiple diagnostic tools
Cleaned the inside of the PC as it was quite dusty
Downloading all updates for my PC
Now heres the weird part, there is power to them, as when i plug in my phone it charges, but nothing happens computer end of things.
This problem just started after i had to clean my CPU's, which was over 2 months ago, and ive been trying since then to find a solution without taking it to a repair shop.
So has anybody got any ideas? The next thing i was about to try is re installing windows, but ive lost my disk -_-
