Solved: Wrong name for USB disk

I am trying to create a recovery disk for my computer. I bought a 32 GB USB flash drive and when I connect it, the computer calls it local disk G instead of USB disk G so the recovery program doesn't recognize it. What should I do? There must be some way to use this disk.
