Docking Station One Touch Back Up / Cloning

I'm needing to clone a ide hard drive to sata but the docking station with one touch back up seems to say on the casing that it works from A to B, which is sata to ide. I haven't bought the docking station yet. It's suppose to work as a stand alone cloning station, meaning it hasn't got to be plugged into the computer.

Is there anybody familiar with these docking stations? The drive I'm cloning to is a Western Digital also, and it seems to say there is problems using newer WD in the docking station, anybody know what newer means, as in sata2 too new?
