Tech Support Guy System Info Utility version 1.0.0.2
OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium, Service Pack 1, 64 bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz, Intel64 Family 6 Model 42 Stepping 7
Processor Count: 4
RAM: 4061 Mb
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti, 1024 Mb
Hard Drives: C: Total - 1907626 MB, Free - 1618138 MB;
Motherboard: MSI, H61M-P23 (MS-7680)
Antivirus: Panda Antivirus Pro 2014, Updated and Enabled
It started last month, first my computer would have a hard time turning on. When I push the power button the computer would come on after 10 seconds, whereas if I freshly turn it off, it will come right back on.
When I had removed my graphics card, the computer would have no problems with powering on right away. I thought at first the graphics card was causing the problem, and I had RMA'ed the card and got a brand new card, but the problem is still happening.
The other problem is whenever I start a game that would use my graphics card, the computer would restart it self right when the game got to anything graphical. I have tried many suggestions I have found to try and rule out software, I have even reinstalled Windows, updated my CPU firmware, and the list goes on.
I am at a lost at what could be causing these problems and I would like to know before I spend more money to RMA another part. Thank you for any help you can provide me.
