Hi guys,
I've frequented this forum before as it's been a great place for advice when I've had a software problem, but now I've got a hardware problem and aren't sure where to turn!
I've got a new gaming PC, custom built by a friend. Everything worked fine, until the fan on the side made a strange clicking noise. So I switched it off, slid off the side panel, lightly dusted the fan as it was dusty, and then rebooted it. Voila, no clicking sound to be heard. But subsequently, 8/10 times I try to boot the computer up, the lights flash and the fan spins once before it goes dead, and it has to be unplugged before I can try to turn it on again. I just can't figure it out. Could it be a short maybe? And whatever it is, how on Earth do I stop it?
Thanks guys :)
