Solved: How can I clean up my laptop to speed it up?

Hi,

People tell me there are things I can do to make my laptop run faster. It's a Sony Z Series so it's a pretty descent laptop and it's about a couple of years old and I have plenty of storage and memory on it...what can I do to clean it up so it would run faster?
