Hi there. I'm planning to buy a Lenovo G500 laptop, and I simply can't find the correct answer to one small question.
As you might know, laptops of today incorporate many hotkey functions on their F1-F12 keys. And for that particular Lenovo model (and some of its closely-related brethren), I can't figure out what the F8 hotkey does in Windows 7.
It looks like three small squares, and ''F8'' below them. According to the G500 user manual, it is used to ''display all currently active apps''. As apps are only available in Windows 8, does anyone of you know what purpose could it serve in Windows 7?
I posted this already on Lenovo official forums, but not a single soul bothers to answer. There's gotta be someone who uses Windows 7 on Lenovo G500/G505/G510/G700/G710 or any other Lenovo with inverted Fn/function keys. If you're one of them, press F8 (or Fn+F8) and tell me what happens.
Thanks in advance.
