Today I tried to install Chromium OS mint from a USB stick on my Lenovo Thinkpad x100e. It got to the Chromium logo, then shut down. When it rebooted, the built in inputs weren't working: the keyboard and mouse don't work now. I used an external keyboard/mouse to log in.
Oddly, I can still use most of the fn shortcuts, and the power button works as well. I can see the hardware in the hardware manager, and everything looks normal there. When I go to the trackpad/trackpoint options in the mouse settings, I can't alter the settings; normally the boxes can be checked/unchecked.
The issue is not restricted to Windows though; I can't use the built-in keyboard/mouse in the BIOS either.
Does anyone have an idea of what is going on and how to fix my mouse and keyboard?
EDIT: I updated the BIOS and it's now working. Should've probably known it was a bios problem since the keyboard wasn't working in the BIOS.
