I have a wireless camera set up in my house to check on the dogs. I can see the feed in my network fine. I want to access it outside the network.
I set up an account with afraid.org for a free dns service.
I went rummaging around my router pages looking for settings.
I found the camera as a device, with a dns entry and mac address showing under connected devices.
I don't know what to look for from here.
On the afraid.org site when I'm logged in I have a little box that shows the domain/subdomain I set up on mooo.com under "dynamic update candidates".
In my router settings I see a 184 IP address as the WAN address. I also see this same IP address pop up if I click to update the above link on the afraid.org site.
What am I missing? My ISP got me intot he router but won't go any further and I'm lost.
Suggestions?
Thanks
