Wiring Help!!!

I am in the process of replacing the hard drive of a DELL N5030 that someone else had taken apart. What my problem is there is a computer type flat wire (sticky in spots) that has a MB on one end and TP on the other end - this wire was laying inside the laptop and the Keyboard wire is also not connected on the computer side.

I need to know where this flat wire goes and does the keyboard wire just connect into the connector on the laptop side.
