I currently have this setup
- i3 2120 stock @ 3.30 GHz
- Powercolor 7750 1GB
- ASRock H61M-DGS Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
- Corsair 500W
- 8 GB RAM
I want to know if uprgrading to this GPU (Powercolor 7870 Myste Tahili LE):http://us.ncix.com/products/?sku=78372 would be possible. I know that the GPU's minimum voltage is 500W, which i have, but will that fry/break my card by any chance? Also, will the i3 2120 bottleneck this card at all? Will it run games closely to an i5, or is there a major difference? I could barely play the BF4 beta on low settings with my current card, and a $200 jump should be a nice change. I have a 1440 x 900 monitor, so should I see higher FPS than a 1920 x 1080 monitor? ANY feedback would be great (including estimated FPS in some games :)).
Forgot to mention - What is UEFI? It says that on the box, and I was wondering what it did. Will i need that to run this card or something? Thanks again!
