Couple of questions about a new processor..

Hi:)
I would like to put a AMD Phenom(tm) 8550 Triple-Core Processor 2.2GHz into my motherboard which is a BIOSTAR Group N61PB-M2S to replace my AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ 2.3GHz.
My questions are:
1) Can I put this processor into my motherboard? Because the AMD Phenom is a AM2+ socket and my motherboard is AM2.
2) Will it still support my 64 bit OS? (Windows 7 Pro)
