My left mouse button is not functioning correctly. The mouse itself is functioning correctly. The sensitivity, the right mouse button and the scroll wheel all work fine, but the left mouse button doesn't.
So I bought a HP Computer and I have had it for about a year now, with the mouse. The mouse is automatically connected to the computer wirelessly, but it doesn't require a USB slot (sorry, I don't know the specifics, I am very nooby when it comes to tech). Sometimes, when I play games, the mouse just stops working randomly, and I have to restart my computer by holding in the button.
My left mouse button recently has started to not function correctly. When I try to click on something, 1/4 times it will work. Most of the time I will have to click again or 3 times before it will click. I can, however, click the mouse button with an extra bit of force and it will work correctly, however, I am a gamer, and if I do this all the time, the mouse will probably break.
I don't know if this problem could have to do with my programs?
I have Windows 7, I run avast! (which I installed today, before my mouse started to not function correctly, however, it worked normally for about 8 hours after installing avast!)
I have gone to mouse preferences and tried to fix it there, but to no avail.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you!
