Disabled a video driver that I shouldn't have.

I was recently trying to fix a computer for my mom and extract everything that I could off the hard drive for her. All of her pics were lost because I couldn't log into her account for some reason. I did however install another copy of xp on the hard drive that her info is on. Some how I disabled some driver in the device manager and now when I try to boot the computer the fan kicks in high gear and there is no signal to the display. The second copy of windows that I installed was running properly for about a month. My question is there a way to reset the found new hardware or the drivers that I disabled without being able to see the display? The computer is a HP Media Center PC m7470n running windows xp pro sp3 with all updates as of 9/6/13. It does have an s-video hook up that I might be able to get a picture off of.
