Hi, I have been given a Toshiba, laptop, xp pro, with a serious mouse problem. Its movements are erratic and move all over or get stuck in corner, then suddenly it will work for a half hour, then will freeze in a corner. The mouse pad is the same. I have changed mouses, I have tried the mice on different computers and they work. I have reformatted 3 times. If i try to disable the mouse pad, then the usb mouse will not work at all, but the mouse pad will, though not well and still gets stuck. So i must enable it as i get a little more action with them both enabled. I have done a few virus scans, came up with nothing. Hope you can help me to fix this laptop, because then i need to ask for help to get my PC running again, as i cannot get windows to fully load. ..but one problem at a time... my mouse problem... :) thanks
