Not sure what forum to ask this in, so feel free to move it. I asked last year about this time for opinions on laptops. I got different brand opinions, but not exactly what I am looking for.
I have seen the touch screen laptops. Are they actually any good? I don't care for actual tablets, I can do most of that stuff on my phone :-).. I have seen them come down in price.
My computer now is Gateway by Vista. it's a 32 bit dual 1.60 GHZ with 2 gb ram. I figured ANYTHING out there is more powerful that what I have.
What's the cheapest way to get the most outta my money? I know I want at least a 15 inch screen. I hate the little ones. There is so many GB hard drives and GB memory and different processors I have no idea which is worse or which is best.
I only use it for homework, and searching the web. Nothing like gaming or doing anything powerful. I'd like to stick around $500, no more. Any advice would be APPRECIATED
