Solved: erratic mouse

Hi Guys

I recently bought a Logitech wireless mouse. It worked fine at first - but lately it seems to stall when I try to move the pointer. I replaced the AA battery with a new one - but it still has the same malady. Sometimes it works fine - for a few minutes - (ten?) then the pointer stalls on the screen no matter how I move the mouse. At this moment it works fine.
Any thoughts
