Why Do I Blue screen?

I have a custom built computer, and for the past few months I encounter a blue screen almost every hour on the dot, but instead of bsod it just can't do anything but let the mouse move around the page. When it does rarely get the bsod, the blue screen never gets past 0% for collecting data for the error. I have installed a new motherboard since it started and done RAM/ Hard drive tests and tried a friends video card but the blue screens still occur. When the blue screens started I upgraded to Windows 8 from Windows 7. I can always tell when the blue screens are coming because all my background applications crash (like music) but the application i'm currently on still runs for about 10 minutes. I've tried using one stick of RAM and have taken out the hard drive then put it back in. I believe all the drivers are updated.
Has a Kerenel data inpage error when it rarely blue screens
Did some check on it and had DRIVER_PAGE_FAULT_IN_FREED_SPECIAL_POOL (bcmwlhigh664.sys)
