I have a asus 1015pem netbook. I recently upgraded the RAM from 1GB to 2GB RAM that I found here on amazon.
It works well but the problem is that when I try to turn on the netbook or wake it up from sleep or hibernation. All the lights except the processor light turn on, the screen remains black and nothing happens. I usually have to hold down the power button; turn it off and then back on again several times before it finally boots. I switched back to my old 1GB RAM and it booted normally.
I ran a memTest that came on a Hiren boot usb and it said the RAM has no errors. Is there something I can do to stop this from happening. Or is RAM itself faulty?
